Is EEtalk free?

Yes. EEtalk is free to download and free to use on every platform — no ads and no paid tiers for core messaging and calls.

Are my chats end-to-end encrypted?

Secret Chats are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE): messages are encrypted on your device with keys that never leave it, so only you and your recipient can read them. Regular chats and calls are encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and SRTP.

Which devices can I use?

Windows, macOS, Android and Web today, with iOS coming to the App Store soon. Sign in with the same account and your conversations follow you.

macOS says it "cannot verify EEtalk". What do I do?

This is the standard macOS notice for apps installed outside the App Store — one extra click and you are in. In Applications, right-click EEtalk and choose Open, then click Open again. If macOS still blocks it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click "Open Anyway". You only need to do this once; after that EEtalk opens normally and keeps itself up to date.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account any time from Settings inside the app, or from our account deletion page. Your profile is anonymized and your phone number is released.

How do I report abuse?

Every conversation has a Report option. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and typically act within 24 hours.
