Reporting abuse
We cannot read your conversations, so reports from the people in them are the main way we learn that something is wrong.
Blocking, first
Blocking someone in the app stops their messages and calls immediately and does not require us to be involved. Do that first; then report if the conduct warrants it.
Reporting to us
Email xiaosan9288@gmail.com with "Abuse report" in the subject line. Include the username or link involved, the group invitation link if it concerns a group, when it happened, and what the conduct was. For anything involving a minor, use "Child safety" in the subject instead — those go to the front of the queue.
Do not attach illegal material to your report. Describe it instead.
What we can act on
Reports from participants, publicly shared usernames and group invitation links, and abuse signals that are visible without reading content — mass unsolicited messaging, for instance. We cannot verify a claim by reading the conversation, so a report that describes the conduct concretely is far more useful than one that does not.
What happens next
Depending on what we find, we may take no action, restrict the account, or terminate it permanently. We report to the competent authorities where we are able and required to. We do not comment on the outcome of a report about another person's account.
Appealing a decision
If your account was restricted or terminated and you believe that was wrong, email xiaosan9288@gmail.com with "Appeal" in the subject line, from the address on the account. A person reviews appeals, not an automated system, and we will tell you the outcome.
